ALTERNITY Artifact (Perk)
ALTERNITY Artifact (Flaw)

These two simple little tables were designed to help the GM come up
an artifact on the spur of the moment without having to take the time
to do all the dice rolling, leaving more time for plot development.

They work well, the only exception being that due to program
limitations, the results will often return a Primary and/or Secondary
Purpose even though it has no equivalent powers. A minor annoyance, at
best. Also due to program limits, duplication is possible, though it
should be at a minimum. My recommendation is to reroll or else make
a manual change.

Note that the Primary/Secondary Purpose refers only to the first such
power rolled. In order to promote variety and cut back on duplications,
the second and subsequent powers generated are taken from the broad
tables.

ALTERNITY Mutant Origin
ALTERNITY Mutations

These two tables were created to aid in the creation of mutant heroes.
The first one determines the background and mutation/drawback points
of the hero. The second table randomly generates a mutant power and a
drawback of each level. Simple, but it does cut down on die rolling.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
ALTERNITY Character Funds

This is a very simple table that randomly generates a money total for
each character profession. Again, a very simple table (one line), but
it helps cut back on die rolling.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
ALTERNITY Tangents

This table will prove most useful to those who own that supplement, but
others may find it of some use. It generates a random tangent (alternate
dimension) for characters to explore.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
ALTERNITY City Encounters

It never fails, during any given adventure, the PCs will want to spend
a little time in the big city. But the GM has been so busy concentrating
his or her attention on the bulk of the adventure that they are caught
completely off guard. This is a problem no longer. A few rolls on this
encounter table will give you adventure hooks aplenty! It is designed
with the Star*Drive setting in mind, but works equally well for just
about any sci-fi setting. With minor modification, it could also serve
in a modern or fantasy setting as well.
